How to Pack a Bathroom for Moving

Don’t forget to pack necessary bathroom items.
This list of Dos and Don’ts is filled with helpful tips on packing everything you’ll need in your new place after your ULoad™ move.

Liquids and personal products

Do keep anything that may leak in plastic wrap or plastic bags and place into a medium size box.
Do group similar products together in one bag and label.
Do throw out empty bottles and containers.
Don’t pack anything with alcohols, aerosol, or harsh chemicals.

Medicine cabinet

Do keep everyday items and toiletries with you during your move.
Do throw out expired over-the-counter and prescription medicines.
Don’t leave shaving razors or scissors uncovered. Be sure to safely pack each item and store them in a small box placed inside of a larger box.

Towels & Linens

Do wrap folded bundles of towels in plastic bags.
Do pack in large moving boxes.
Do use hand towels and other linens as padding inside your moving boxes for an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative.
Don’t pack dirty or soiled linens.

Cleaning supplies

Do pack brushes, sponges, and brooms.
Don’t pack any liquid, aerosol, or chemical cleaners. These are not safe for transportation long distances.

Personal electronics

Do remove attachments, adapters, batteries, and cords (if removable) to wrap separately.
Do pack in small to medium moving boxes for lifting and moving with ease.
Do wrap electronics in paper and bubble wrap.
Don’t store with liquids or rough objects that could damage the circuitry or casing.
